Nearly one-third of all seniors live by themselves, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. Social isolation and loneliness can be harmful to the physical, mental, cognitive, and emotional health of older adults. If you think your loved one may need assistance, talk to them about their health and address any issues that may be limiting their social life and together come up with a plan to improve their quality of life.
