Connecticut residents are asked to be aware of the warmer temperatures and humidity forcasted for the state for the rest of the week. Note that there is also an air quality alert in effect in some parts of the state.

Make sure to avoid direct sunlight when you can and if you have to be outside, do your best to limit activity to the morning and evening. Cooling centers are now open across the state, if necessary, call 211 to find a cooling center near you.
