We were recently proud to support the efforts of Mira Jewelry’s 1st Annual Forever in My Heart Gala, a charity fundraiser event to raise money for Middletown’s K-9 Police Dog Unit and the Animal Hope & Wellness Foundation.

The night started off with a glamorous cocktail hour accompanied by live singing, followed by red carpet photo sessions, auction item presentation, and later, reception and dance under the grand tent behind the historical Wadsworth Mansion in Middletown. Guests were lavishly greeted with flutes of champagne as they arrived, and swept up incredible auction items to take home as the night came to a close.

The highlight for us, however, was the presentation by Marc Ching, founder of the Animal Hope & Wellness Foundation, one of the beneficiaries of the event.

Unfortunately, animals, from domesticated dogs and cats to wild horses and sea creatures, are the most oppressed creatures on our planet. This was the mission of this gala: to raise money to allow animal charities, shelters, and rescue efforts like Marc’s to receive funding to continue saving animals around the world.

This abuse was something Maggie, Euro-American’s founder, wants to fight against, and she spoke out on the incredible meaning animals bring to our lives, and how they can dramatically enhance a senior’s life in particular. No matter how young or old you are, a faithful pet will always comfort you in a way you can’t explain. Dogs, cats and so many animals are incredible creatures put on this earth for a reason. They deserve our respect and solidarity, and in the case of thousands of abused and abandoned dogs like those that are shipped off to slaughterhouses in China, deserve a loving, safe home where they will not be oppressed and sold off for meat.

Our mission is to make sure that dogs and cats can find their way into our client’s homes to bring joy back into their lives.

If you are interested in either sponsoring a dog or cat recently rescued by local shelters or even finding a way to introduce pet therapy to your loved one’s life, please give us a call at 860-829-0208. We’d be happy to point you in the right direction and together, we can make such a positive impact on our clients’ lives while giving these animals a loving home.
