rn●Observation of public health needs in rural areas of Central America, in particular, Guatemala and addressing them. This often includes: sanitation for infection control, education on healthcare matters, treatment of illnesses such as: chicken pox, diphtheria, scabies and so on…
rn●Support of children in private children\\\’s homes in Guatemala until their families can adequately provide for them. In these designated homes,children have their basic needs met as well as schooling, medical and dental care.
rn●Serving children with special needs by providing services through art, music, and educational activities during after-school hours. The population served includes children who are non-verbal, non-ambulatory, and may have diagnoses of Autism, Down Syndrome, Rett syndrome and other related disorders.
rn•Scheduled respite is provided for parents who have children with special needs.
